TRAINEES HELP SECTION

This page can be used by anyone intending to study for and apply to be a Personal Licence Holder.
Some of the links and activities are on secure pages which only our trainees have passwords for.
Please feel free to use any of the other resources.

The Law requires that you undertake 10 hours of training yet most courses run for a day.
Say 8 hours, less the 1 hour examination, leaves you with 3 hours of training to undertake.
We provide our clients and trainees with guided study sheets and video clips along with some research exercises to help guide them through meaningful and relevant training.

5 principles of the new Law

  1. Suggest 2 current positive actions (in your establishment) that uphold each of the 5 principles
  2. Suggest one shortcoming that you may need to address in each area.

How well do you stack up

  • Can you honestly point to a robust refusal policy that everyone knows.
  • Do you have a solid method that everyone uses to ensure proof of age.
  • What nuisance/noise issues might you have.

And the message is!

  • List all the notices you currently have on display in the bar, do not go and look, try without then check.
  • Now check the secure site for a list of likely notices the law/s require.

    (HTP PUB) or Off Sales (or the supplied CD/DVD).
  • Study the assessment sheet and how it might apply.
  • Carry out risk assessments for your busy nights
