Help is at hand, although based in the Highlands, training can be delivered anywhere in Scotland
I offer a typical 5 day course or I can deliver by evening class but it still requires one full day.
I am, currently, the only fully qualified trainer in the North of Scotland to deliver the new June 2005 course.
This new course, is required by the SIA and has 4 modules;
They are all examined separately, each with its own award. Passing of all 4, provides evidence for a group award and the SIA are informed automatically. The Physical Intervention, is only delivered after the Conflict Management course, a full physical day, with theory test and observed practice.
FEES Full 5 day courses inclusive of refreshments, training and examination fees, delivered through Inverness College and Hospitality Training Partnership £375 each or £175 with an ILA)
FEES Full 5 day course, for 6 candidates, inclusive of training and examination fees, delivered at your venue with you providing refreshments. £1500, each additional candidate £92 maximum of 12 candidates
FEES for the 1 day Physical Intervention course, required when renewing. £90 per person, inclusive of refreshments, tution. Minimum of 6 persons maximum of 12. Group rate is £475 for a group of 6 plus £35 per person (max 12), assumes you provide your own venue (see below).
Note venues require to be inspected prior to course delivery as we have strict criteria that we must comply with to maintain our status with the awarding bodies. [Toilets on site, drinking water on site, first aider or telephone on site, seating area for training, mains electric and for PI aspects 3 SqM per candidate of floor space and one solid wall 3m long with no obstructions]
